Hello Children,

You may not be 18 yet. You may still be at school. But you are still aware of the issues that affect your life. And you feel the urgent need to resolve these issues. Education, school, public transportation, environment, environment, safety, sports, these and many other issues that affect our lives and yours.

Just write a letter about any issue that concerns you along with a solution if you have one. Letters for Change will make sure it reaches the right authority in the Government, institutions and companies.

You may think about what one letter could do, or one person. Mahatma Gandhi, Winston Churchill, Jawaharlal Nehru, Martin Luther King were all letter writers. And they brought change through the power of their words. The pen is indeed mightier than the sword.

Letters for Change.

It's a movement by the children, for the children. Children run Letters for Change. The office staff is almost entirely under 18 (of course there’s a bit of parental supervision). From managing the letters, to sorting, filing and making sure our letters reach the right people, our team of children runs the small office.

Our core message is simple.

“Write a letter on an issue that you think will change your life”.

How it works

We are asking children to write letters in schools. Each one writes a letter and clicks a picture of the letter. Then WhatsApp it to 9321654150. Letters for Change ensures that we read the letters and the right parties get the letters.

What’s your reward

Every child’s letter would be displayed on our website (www.lettersforchange.ngo) and the right people will get to see it. This will enable action. Letters that make an impact will be talked about with the press. Plus we will be publishing select letters in social media and as part of an annual collection in book form.
